Composition: Coal tar belongs to a class of agent / ingredient known askeratopalstics. It works by causing the skin to shed dead cell from its top layer and slow down the growth of skin cells. The effect decreases scaling and dryness. Coal tar has an effect on the DNA of the cells in the skin, which could affect acne and eczema symptoms. The main beneficial property of coal tar pitch is in the treatment of skin diseases such as psoriasis and dandruff. Salicylic acid is a compound obtained from the bark of the white willow and wintergreen leaves, and also prepared synthetically. It has bacteriostatic, fungicidal, and keratolytic actions. Its salts, the salicylates, are used as analgesics.

Direction for use: Wet hands and skin, generate a soapy lather (does not lather much), and apply to skin in a circular motion for 1-2 minutes avoiding contact with eyes. Rinse skin thoroughly with warm water and pat dry. Follow with regular skin care regime or as per suggestion of health care provider.
